Recep Cem Teber is the Senior Law Clerk at Dudani Law, based at One World Trade Center, supporting attorneys on employment discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and whistleblower matters.
Cem assists with mediation submissions, damages analyses, evidentiary exhibits, client communication, and the organization of medical and employment records. His work also includes conducting targeted legal research, preparing draft pleadings, motions, and related litigation documents, responding to discovery requests, and helping ensure that case materials remain accurate, complete, and strategically aligned.
Before joining the firm, Cem practiced for five years in Istanbul as a trial attorney handling employment and civil litigation, including workplace discrimination cases and trial proceedings. After moving to New York, he spent several years drafting persuasive asylum declarations for clients from more than 25 countries, first at a New York law firm and then with the New York City Mayor's Office of Immigrant Affairs, work that sharpened his legal writing and deepened his commitment to people navigating unfamiliar systems.
He holds an LL.M. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, and an LL.B. from Istanbul University, Faculty of Law. Cem is a member of the Istanbul Bar Association and is currently preparing for the New York bar exam.
