Her time on the defense side is now her clients' advantage. Julie knows how employers build their defenses, how their lawyers approach a case, and where those defenses tend to crack. When she evaluates a claim, she is reading it the way the other side will, and planning two moves ahead of them. Julie began her career on the defense side in Texas, including a judicial internship in the Harris County courts, before bringing that insight to New York's employees.
Her background in psychology and gender studies shapes the way she works with the people she represents: with patience, without judgment, and with a real understanding of what workplace mistreatment does to a person's confidence and career. Clients bring Julie situations they have been carrying alone for months. She listens first. Then she goes to work.
Julie earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Women & Gender Studies from the University of Texas at Austin and her Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law. She is admitted to the Texas Bar and the New York Bar.
