Yori Johnson is an Associate Attorney at Dudani Law, bringing a defense-side perspective to the representation of employees in high-stakes workplace disputes. Before representing employees, Yori represented the companies they worked for. His experience representing employers gave Yori a deeper understanding of the challenges employees face in the workplace and ultimately led him to focus his practice on representing plaintiffs. His prior defense work gives him a firsthand understanding of how the other side evaluates claims, the defenses its counsel will develop, the facts that create meaningful exposure, and the circumstances that may cause an employer to reassess its position. Today, he puts that experience to work for his clients.
Yori represents employees throughout New York in matters involving employment discrimination, retaliation, sexual harassment, and disability rights. He understands that workplace disputes are often both legally complex and deeply personal. His approach is straightforward: he listens carefully, assesses the facts candidly, explains the law clearly, and develops a strategy designed to advance his client's interests. He does not overstate a case or minimize its challenges. He prepares for the opposition he expects and works diligently to put his clients in the strongest position possible.
Clients value Yori for his accessibility, responsiveness, and disciplined approach to advocacy. He communicates in plain English, returns calls, and takes the time to ensure his clients understand both the legal issues and the strategy behind their case. He prepares every matter with the expectation that the opposing side will vigorously contest it, because thorough preparation creates leverage and allows his clients to negotiate and litigate from a position of strength.
Yori earned his B.A. in English from the University of Arizona and his Juris Doctor from St. John's University School of Law. He is admitted to practice law in New York.
